About the Event
Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) hosted its first outdoor Red Dress Exhibit (Msko-mjigoodenh Zhinoomaagewin) on May 5 and 6, 2024, to commemorate Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit people (MMIWG2S) and raise awareness about this critical issue. The exhibit featured red dresses hung in trees along Gould Street, symbolizing the absence of those lost and serving as a call to action.
